In Memoriam:
Allan P. White
Of Counsel Emeritus
Although Allan White, is no longer with us, he deserves a page in recognition of his contribution and loyalty to Paul Fino and the rest of us. He brought Paul A. Fino, Jr. into his firm and created White Fleischner & Fino, before his retirement, and which firm was in existence for about 35 years, when that firm dissolved he always remained loyal to Paul, giving him the White name to use and he served of counsel to the successor firm of White Werbel & Fino, LLP, which allowed Allan to exhibit his staunch loyalty and to resume the hands on practice of law, while he continued to impart his years of business and legal acumen to the younger associates. Because of his devotion to Paul, and then Shelly and Matt, it is only fitting that we recognize him as a someone who was a dear friend and mentor,
Allan practiced in the area of insurance defense litigation, with emphasis on the areas of equine liability, bloodstock, recreational liability, professional indemnity, veterinary malpractice, and employment practices law. Allan was well-known in the equine industry representing trainers, farm owners, riders and veterinarians and is listed in the "Who's Who" section of the website www.horsesdaily.com. He has also acted as an arbitrator and/or mediator for various insurance and commercial disputes and has served as a small claims court arbitrator for the City of New York. He was also a devoted father and husband.
It should be known that Allan, took great pride in knowing he had built a legacy in the legal profession, as he watched his former firm and now our current firm develop and go on to be a well-respected, full service insurance and litigation defense firm, serving major corporations along with national and international insurance companies.
May his memory be a blessing to us all. Allan you are missed!
