Senior Partner
Paul Fino, along with his partners, Shelly Werbel and Matthew Toker, have founded the law firm of Fino Werbel & Toker, LLP, after having been the senior partner of White Werbel & Fino, LLP and following Paul having been Senior Managing Partner of the New York office of, White Fleischner & Fino, LLP which he originally founded in 1981 with Allan White. Paul is the firm’s senior trial lawyer and a formidable courthouse presence. He has tried and mediated a substantial number of significant personal injury cases each year and has an enviable trial track record with juries. He is truly well known and well respected in all of the courts in the New York metropolitan area. His cases run the gamut from premises liability to motor vehicle accidents, construction site accidents, medical malpractice, products liability, lead poisoning, insurance fraud, professional liability and dram shop defense. His clients have been a broad cross section of national and international liability insurance carriers and major corporations.
Paul has been repeatedly selected by his peers for inclusion in New York Metro Super Lawyers, an honor given to only five percent of the lawyers in the state. He is also one of the defense deans of the New York Bar.
Paul, the son of a former United States Congressman and New York Supreme Court Justice, is a former Trustee of the Village of Atlantic Beach, NY and has held the positions of Secretary, Vice-President, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New York City Trial Lawyers Alliance, a bar association comprised of defense and plaintiff personal injury attorneys in the New York Metropolitan area.
